Employees who use their own vehicles when driving for work purposes, more commonly known as ‘grey fleet’ make up the largest proportion of employees driving for work. However, there is a for some reason, a very ‘grey’ area over this particular vehicle fleet management for both employers and employees.

Unfortunately, the confusion caused means employees could be knowingly or unknowingly driving illegally which leaves them and their employer exposed to risk and potential prosecution.
