Thursday 19 May 2022 - 12:30

Casting a blue light on all things police, fire and related services.

Held on MS Teams.

The Blue Light Committee have invited Kerry Henry from the North West Regional and Organised Crime Unit to take us through some of the key cyber resilience requirements including:

  • Understanding what a cyber attack looks like and what the impact might be
  • How to plan and prepare for a cyber attack
  • Understand what measures we can put in place to protect our own organisation
  • How to respond to an attack.

Kerry has worked with several North West LRF Civil Contingencies Units and police business continuity leads across the country in advising on cyber resilience and testing and exercising the response to a cyber major incident and this input will provide the opportunity to learn and gain the necessary understanding of what is required to protect our organisations against a cyber attack.
