Job Description

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Risk, Continuity and Compliance Manager to be an integral part of a highly dynamic Audit, Risk and Business Continuity Team supporting the Council in the achievement of its overall governance objectives.

The post holder will be in a leading and proactive role in the development and maintenance of high quality and timely risk management and business continuity systems and processes to support the effectiveness of Wirral Council's wider governance arrangements.

The post holder will be required to develop and maintain effective risk management and business continuity systems and processes, as well as strong, clear communications with a range of colleagues and peers including Chief Officers, Senior Managers and Leaders from across the sector and Council members on complex risk and continuity matters.

To be successful in this challenging role, you will have demonstrable experience of risk performance frameworks and risk management, effective business continuity management, clear and effective communication with stakeholders of all levels and display a passion for developing and improving risk and continuity mechanisms in a complex and challenging environment.

Salary

Band PO10 - £38,813 to £41,675
