Hi, does anyone have any experience or information being able to find an exclusion to the requirement for a member of staff to sit the Driver CPC in order to drive a minibus, where that driving activity is incidental (and potentially a one-off) to their job? For example, the qualified driver might be taken ill on the day of an outing – could an employee (e.g. a teacher or sports coach) with the appropriate DVLA category on their licence, step in and drive that minibus?
