This 45‑minute session will provide attendees with an overview of cyber insurance market, focusing on what a cyber policy typically covers, how limits of indemnity should be assessed and how to get a cyber policy. It will outline current market conditions, key coverage components and exclusions, and the security controls expected by insurers. The session is designed to give attendees a practical understanding of how cyber insurance fits within their organisation’s overall cyber risk and resilience strategy.
Benji is a Cyber Client Director in the Aon Cyber Solutions team and has been with Aon for over five years. During the time at Aon, Benji has held varies roles across the cyber team including managing Aon’s cyber assessment tool across the UK and EMEA, as well as working with a variation of client stakeholders to assess client risk management and create the right strategy to achieve Cyber resilience across insurance and cyber consulting. Projects and clients collaborated with include tech, telecoms, education and retail industries as well as the regions of the UK and EMEA. Benji holds in certificate in Information Security Management Principles and is currently studying for her CII.
