Globally, artificial intelligence and machine learning is advancing faster than we can create the control framework to wrap around it in order to manage the unintended consequences derived from its misuse. This session will explore the risks associated with the use of artificial intelligence in the claims industry from the perspective of both the claims management companies and the claimant.
How will we grapple with AI related disputes and black-box autonomous behaviour in the coming years? Are we entering an era where liability will be determined solely through artificial intelligence and what impact will this have on our reputation and on claimants?
