Session
The Crime and Policing Bill before Parliament at the time of writing (November 2025) makes radical changes to limitation law as it applies to child sex abuse civil claims. They are expected to become law by the time of the ALARM Conference. Paul and Bethany will explain the genesis of the new provisions and seek to predict how the courts are likely to interpret them, as well as looking at reliance on limitation defences in a post-IICSA world.
