Neville Fay, Chair of the Drafting Group will introduce the National Tree Safety Group (NTSG) and its recent revised guidance for owners, managers and advisers, developed with industry and HSE consultation. This session will provide an overview of the NTSG origins, in response to high-profile cases, its sector-wide engagement, and outline its risk philosophy and principles underpinning reasonable, proportionate advice for managing risks from trees, and cover selected scenarios.
