Public Sector risk never stands still – and  neither should we. In this fast-paced, interactive horizon-scan session, Matthew and Gavin will take a light hearted but sharp look at the emerging issues facing council, public bodies, and services in 2025 & beyond.

Inspired by the long running panel show Have I Got News for You, the session will mix humour with hard-hitting insights. Using quick-fire rounds, headline challenges, and “missing words” games, participants will test their knowledge of current and emerging risks while uncovering the serious implications behind the satire. From financial pressures to climate resilience, AI ethics to community trust, they’ll explore the stories making tomorrow’s headlines today.

Their aim is to discuss serious risks with smart insights – and have a little bit of fun along the way
