Head of Insurance Services, London Borough of Hackney

After swimming ashore from an Uncle Albert esq attempt at a career in the merchant navy, Michael has over 32 years of experience in the insurance industry, incorporating a diverse range of roles in the public & private sectors.  Starting out at a small commercial broker  before moving to General Accident's commercial claims team he has worked in the public sector since 2001.  Joining Hackney, a London Borough, in the exciting aftermath of the London 2012 Olympics proved to be both a challenge and a pleasure, feelings that continue to this day.
