Over the last few years, the Scottish Government has undertaken a programme of continuous improvement, much of which has focussed on process and guidance. While the SG is more mature than it ever has been before, that maturity is process-based and it needs to move towards cultural maturity, where the organisations lives out its risk management guidance rather than simply follow it.
In this session, Iain and Robyn will share their experience of developing risk maturity; where they’ve been, where they want to go and how they plan to go about it. But they also want to hear from ALARM members about what they’re doing to develop risk maturity. Delegates will have the opportunity to hear what other public sector bodies are doing to develop risk maturity, share good practice, top tips and take away some new ideas and actions to trial in their own organisations.
