From an election being called, through to the declaration of results, the delivery of an electoral event largely falls to local councils. This session outlines key risks through the lifecycle of an election, the Renfrewshire approach to contingency planning for the event alongside key partners Police Scotland and Scottish Fire and Rescue Services, and how lessons are learned post event. Join Karen from Renfrewshire Council and Sara from Police Scotland as they bring insight to the challenges of risk and contingency planning in this space.
