ALARM Higher Education Committee Member Ang McDonald will share with members how she has taken a proactive and strategic approach to embedding the new ECCTA legislation within the University of Nottingham.
Starting with a comprehensive risk assessment against the six guiding principles of the Act, Ang was able to highlight gaps that needed attention. Using this as an opportunity for improvement, Ang developed a structured plan to address gaps, ensuring that compliance is not just achieved but maintained. Ang will also share how she has worked closely with partners, including the police, to strengthen resilience and ensure that the University of Nottingham is compliant.
