ALARM has been renowned for its National Conference since it launched in 1992. With Sunday networking receptions and more than 35 tailored learning sessions, as well as the ALARM Risk Awards dinner, it offers multiple opportunities to share best practice, and improve skills and insight across all elements of risk management.

From next year, we will be moving to the new Nancy Rothwell Building at the University of Manchester: a bigger and more vibrant space for our conference but still easily accessible via Oxford Road.

ALARM National Conference 2026
We always thoroughly enjoy our time at the ALARM National Conference and this year was no different. Great organisation, great venue and a terrific group of people.
I was really impressed with the breadth of sessions available at this year’s National Conference and how much content was applicable to my work in the higher education sector.
