Welcome to our second Midlands face-to-face event of 2024!

The themes for this event are learning, resilience and professional development. Paul Tarne, Partner at Weightmans, starts the day with a session on Martyn's Law, having had a role in the Public Inquiry into the Manchester Arena terror attack. Followed by Ben Jay, Assistant Director of Finance and Section 151 Officer at Shropshire Council, on Managing financial resilience under pressure

After a short break, Phil Farrar, National Development Director at Risk Management Partners, will consider the insurance related subjects raised by members at the September 2023 meeting. After lunch we host the ever-popular question time panel which will give delegates the opportunity to raise issues for debate among the experienced panel members. Please submit any questions in advance to [email protected].
