Paul Squires from Sedgwick will round the educational day off with a session on housing disrepair claims.

This session will cover the significant changes to the issue of claims suited to the County Court with the implementation of the Damages Claims Portal (DCP), as well as the introduction of extended fixed recoverable costs, arguably the biggest shake up in respect of costs in recent time. Perry and Amanda will provide practical tips in respect of the DCP, extended fixed recoverable costs, as well as addressing some of the other key CPR changes, such as the ability to now offset defendant costs without a judgment, so that clients and practitioners alike are poised to best minimise any liabilities.Speakers
