The Midlands committee welcome you to DWF's Birmingham offices for their autumn seminar, elevating the game.

Chris Griffin, Committee Chair and Director of Organisational Risk and Resilience at University of Southampton will start the day with a session on risk literacy. Chris will deliver a facilitated and interactive discussion on how promoting and developing the basics of risk literacy can support wider strategic buy in to a value adding risk management function.

Jacqui Kendall, Director at DWF Law will then provide a legal update, looking at interesting EL/PL appellate cases in the last year as well as sharing news of her trial wins with decent judgments.

Hannah Francis, Head of Data and AI, Waterstons will round the educational day off with her popular session, sorting your spice cupboard: A beginner's guide to data management where Hannah will break down the principles of good data management, cutting through the jargon to show why it matters and what happens when it isn't in place.

We round the day off with lunch and networking with members and sponsors of ALARM.
